Description
Bridge to Career Program “STACK”
Series of three Skills Academy modules, each of which includes a full semester (15 weeks) of live courses with Business and Higher Education Experts. Students will go through a process of learning more about their personalities and preferred working styles, their vocational interests, and their career goals to help them narrow their focus on a career path and potential employment opportunities. They will learn and practice the must-have skills to be successful in the workforce and valued by employers; create resumes optimized for the jobs they want; and prepare for job interviews.
Students will also learn the "skills language." This will help them to understand what skills they are learning, how those skills will be applicable in their careers, and how to optimize their resumes with the knowledge they are acquiring. This is a critical step for preparing students to stand out to employers and to advance in their careers faster.
